After a great night's sleep in my dorm with 2 new friends Maija and Nika we were woken up to some loud fun tunes in the hallway.

Breakfast is from 8-9 all served for us buffet style. I tried a white pepper for the first time in my life ( tasted like a green one to be honest). We are a big group of people from 21 to 51 years old from all over the world. Activities start at 9:30, we have no idea yet if what we will be doing. It's exciting and scary at the same time. One thing is for sure we won't be climbing any sand dunes (lol).

It's weird having such a late start, no animals to feed and no funny doggies and cats to cuddle.

The sun is shining and the temperature is chilly but comfortable.

Well, mum was right again I was worried for nothing. The trip went super well and flying with Wizz air chilling through the night at Budapest airport was super easy .

As I arrived at the passport desk, the officer asked me what I was coming for and then asked me how to pronounce my name. He went in to let me know there was another participant on the flight and that he knew I would love Sovata ( the area I'm now in). He welcomed to Romania and on I went. I was secretly so pleased he stamped my passport (the only advantage of having a Non EU passport). I love my stamps helps me remember where I've been. I then proceeded to the exit, it was so small I thought it was a room. There were small desks for rentals and and a couple of benches. I went outside and had a little morning chat as usual with my mum. The sun was shining so bright and te air so fresh. I was then picked up by a fellow colleague Andrei who so sweetly invited me to his place to meet his partner, her mum and their baby. He then made me coffee and homemade pancakes which were delicious. I have been blown away by their kindness and warmth. We got to the Outward Bound Base around 2:30 pm after an hour drive that I didn't manage to stay awake the whole tiafter a shower and some food I'm now going to shut my eyes and have a bit of a rest till we begin at 7pm this evening.

Here I go. On the bus from Soa Martinho do Porto to Lisboa. It's 5pm the bus was exactly on time. The bus is full.. Always a strange feeling going into the unknown. So many people think it's easy for me ,but it's not. Those funny feelings in my belly and an urge to cry is how I feel. Crazy I know, at the same time I'm excited and looking forward to seeing a new place with new people. I know I'll be challenged and that's the whole point . I'm now going to listen to some music and think about how lucky I am to get such an experience and for my family and friends that are behind me. I did have to stop off at cousin Claire's for her to attach an airtag to my necklace. So once again and way to help each other with anxiety. We seem to have anxiety in our genes. As many of us do. And if it makes my little cousin feel better tracking me, so be it. I hope people with follow my journey as I promise to share my true emotions along the way and maybe help others especially Teens of today challenge their fears and spread their wings and enjoy life to it's max. Nature , animals and sports have always been my passion and peace.
